As a prelude to the annual Gypsy Jazz festival, Django By The Sea, The Dance Hall presents the incredible Argentinian Gypsy Jazz guitarist Gonzalo Bergara. Bergara's music, called The best thing that happened to Gypsy Jazz in the last 20 years by none other than the Samois Django Reinhardt Festival, has been heard around the world, from the US to Croatia to Brazil to Russia. Come welcome him to his first time playing on the Seacoast.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires Argentina, Gonzalo Bergara is recognized as one of the best Gypsy Jazz players of his generation. His music is heavily influenced by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, as well as traditional jazz and the music of Bergara's true home, Buenos Aires. With 9 albums under his belt, and more than 100 shows a year, Gonzalo presents a mix of his own compositions and classics from the Gyspy Jazz repertoire.
