Noir at the Bar is where horror, suspense, and thriller writers step into the spotlight—and straight into your nightmares. Ten local authors will read chilling excerpts from their work, serving up twists, dread, and delicious unease in one unforgettable night. Come prepared to be scared, mystified, and maybe just a little unhinged (in the best way).

Books will be available for purchase directly from the authors or through Literally Kittery, so you can take the terror home with you. Drinks (wine and beer, because bravery requires backup) will be available for purchase, and we’ll have complimentary snacks to keep you fortified between frights. Tickets are $10—an absolute steal for an evening of suspense, spirits, and stories that will follow you home.

Doors open at 6 pm while the reading will start promptly at 6:30.
